Busbeeee Kinderkinetics Programmes
Programme for infants: (0–24 months)
This programme focuses on supporting a baby’s early sensory-motor development through age-appropriate movement experiences, play and stimulation. Sessions are designed to encourage milestone development, body awareness, muscle strength, coordination and overall movement confidence in a gentle and supportive environment.
Through developmental observation and movement-based activities, areas where additional support may be beneficial can be identified. Attention is also given to important developmental milestones such as tummy time, rolling, crawling, sitting, balance and early movement patterns.
The programme aims to support each baby’s individual developmental journey while creating a positive and playful experience for both baby and parent.
Program for Pre-School children 2 – 7 years of age
This programme is a fun, play-based perceptual-motor programme designed to support a child’s overall development through movement. Sessions focus on important foundational skills such as balance, coordination, body awareness, spatial orientation, rhythm, timing, core strength and movement confidence.
The programme is planned according to each child’s age, developmental phase and individual needs, while creating a positive and encouraging environment where children can learn, move and build confidence through play.
Through movement-based observation and developmental activities, areas requiring additional support can be identified and strengthened. Attention is also given to skills that form part of school readiness and everyday functioning, including motor planning, postural control, bilateral coordination and perceptual development.
The aim of the programme is to help children build strong movement foundations that support not only physical development, but also confidence, participation and overall functioning in daily life.
Sport Development program for children 8 – 12 years of age
This programme focuses on developing fundamental sport and movement skills in a fun, active and encouraging environment. Sessions are designed to help children build confidence in movement while improving coordination, balance, agility, strength, fitness and overall body control.
The programme places emphasis on establishing strong foundational movement skills before moving into more sport-specific skills and activities. Through age-appropriate games, challenges and exercises, children are encouraged to develop movement confidence, teamwork, physical fitness and a positive relationship with exercise and sport.
Activities may include:
- coordination and agility exercises
- balance and reaction activities
- running, jumping and movement challenges
- strength and conditioning using body weight
- ball skills and sport-related movement patterns
- fitness-based games and circuits
Sessions are adapted according to the child’s age, developmental level and individual needs to ensure that movement remains enjoyable, achievable and developmentally appropriate.
The aim of the programme is to help children develop lifelong movement skills, improve physical confidence and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.
Remedial and Adapted program for children 0 – 13 years of age
This programme is designed to support children who may benefit from additional guidance and support in their movement and overall development. Sessions are adapted according to each child’s individual needs, developmental level and abilities, while creating a safe, supportive and encouraging environment.
The programme focuses on areas such as:
- gross motor development
- balance and coordination
- core strength and postural control
- body awareness and motor planning
- perceptual development
- movement confidence and participation
Through movement-based observation, developmental screening and age-appropriate activities, areas requiring support can be identified and addressed in a playful and child-centred manner. Sessions are planned according to the child’s unique strengths, challenges and developmental goals.
This programme may benefit children experiencing challenges with movement, coordination, attention, confidence, posture, physical participation or neurodevelopmental functioning. Support may also be provided to children with developmental delays or additional needs as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach where appropriate.
Collaboration with parents, teachers and other healthcare professionals forms an important part of supporting the child’s overall development and well-being.
